About us
As a pastry artist and illustrator, I work to show realism in my pieces of art. My portraits capture a sketchy portrayal of the real world. I show the emotion a person may be holding in the moment. My work usually involves physical paper with pencil, sometimes I also will use digital applications to create my portrait illustrations, this being Procreate or Clip Studio. I use a pencil to capture the skin's softness and form of the human face and body. The process of my illustrations involved using a sketching form of the face without the use of line work. That means portraying the light and shadow in the form of the face and body. This helps capture the person in real-time.
I believe art is a place of learning and exploration. I strive to let people find the joy that art can bring in all the forms it comes in. This being illustrations, photography, engineering, design and more. I am an artist who can create in multiple forms, portraying physical sketches and drawings, paintings, charcoal drawings and more. I have worked hard to obtain my skills as an artist in illustration. I also have worked hard to obtain my skills as a pastry artist in my free time. This is something else I hope to achieve in the future.
